Remember the old Artistic Club's main menu and context-sensitive submenus on the left? The dark background and the logo with pyramid?

Although it used to be very functional, that design was, as a friend commented, "so 80's".

Now we have a new web 2.0 design, the forms are a bit nicer looking and the menu structure is more user friendly. Oh, as you may have noticed, there's a quick tour on the site's features at the frontpage.

Some enhancements of the Artistic Club site has been made

• Better look and interface of Tasks and Contests;
• Now you can assign thumbnails to any kinds of items you upload. That includes texts, music, films, images (automatically), tasks, contests, events. Doing that, you can make your items look unique and recognizable when listed among others;
• Besides images and music, you can already optionally specify album names for texts and films. Thus, you can group your stuff in categories, for instance "Portfolio", "Fun", "City Streets", whatever. Then, users can filter the artworks they are browsing according to the album they belong to.

Which are the best Artistic Club short films?

This contest has absolutely no conditions: shorts with any genre, duration and production date can apply. You can submit as many of your films as you like. You just have to respect Artistic Club Rules.

Prizes are: 500 for Winner, 300 for Second place and 200 for Third place. The currency is Artes. Yes, it's virtual but you can pass on the torch and create your own contests with those Artes.
