Artistic Club 

This site is an online platform for independent writers, filmmakers, artists, photographers, musicians and art lovers.

Artistic Club users can upload and share their texts, short films, images and music. They can review others' and get reviews of their own artworks.

The site's members can submit their works to user created online contests and even create contests with their own conditions and prizes.

The users can get involved in artistic projects of any kind and can create their own projects.

History 

The idea for creating a free web service like Artistic Club first occurred to Aleko Zhelyazkov in early 2005.

He is a Bulgarian filmmaker, who in pursuit of his dream - directing a feature film has to collide constantly with TV shows, commercials, documentaries, computer animation. He has completed a few documentaries and short narrative films, a few novels and a number of short stories.

While Aleko has been in touch with film festivals and art contests, he's aware that nowadays the competition is strong and it is extremely difficult for a new, undiscovered talent to show and promote his artworks. Aleko believes that an arena for their artworks and feedback from talented professionals is what young authors and filmmakers mostly need. That's why he decided to create Artistic Club - a free shelter for still unknown authors. 

For this concept, Aleko involved a friend of his, Kiril Kaloyanov who is a web developer. Together, they started working on Artistic Club but since their work was completely voluntary and in the same time they had to make a living, the development of the website took three whole years.

A lot of other friends gave their contributions with ideas, recommendations, technical and creative assistance and from the spring of 2008 ArtisticClub.com is online. You can also be of help, as the basic Artistic Club concept is to gather a creative community which relies on self-contribution.
