![]() You wrote a magnificent short story? Composed a groovy piece of music? Produced a fascinating short film? Snapped a striking picture? And now you are dying for somebody to review your work? No problem! Our highly qualified, unusually talented and SuperHyperMega trained specialists will offer you one for $65 only!!! Pissed off of such “favourable” offers? Me, too. That’s why you won’t find them here in this site. Nobody will ask for your money. We’ll never talk about dollars, euros, yens; nobody will be persuading you to buy, to pay, to give away your money for doubtful services.Well, actually that’s not quite true. It is possible that in some moment in the future, real money will be involved, but then the direction will be the opposite – to you. The best authors can win awards at competitions, can be offered contracts and their work could be evaluated fairly and purchased. That of course can happen when the right conditions arise. That is, when this site becomes a winning, popular, honorable institution, which pays back to the people who participated actively and submitted fine artworks. Those conditions depend solely on everyone of us. ArtisticClub.com is a website which brings together artists of all art categories, forms, genres – writers, musicians, filmmakers, designers, photographers, painters… The only condition is the works to be transferable in electronic form so that they can be shared easily and seen by thousands, millions of art lovers. This is the place where you can present your work for others to see. Free of charge. Here you can get reviews, comments and recommendations for them. Again, free. However, on one condition. And it is that, in order to receive anything, you must give first. Not money. But a benevolent attitude, voluntary participation and mutual support. In other words, in order to get a review for your work, you need to write one for somebody else’s work first. This is not difficult. You just need to be unbiased, positive and write from the heart what you think about the work you are reviewing. The Artistic Club is a forum for artists of any age, nationality, race, religion, gender or creed. Let’s take advantage of the privileges given by the global net, which doesn’t have limits as yet. This is the place where you can exhibit your work before the eyes of the whole world. Here you can show who you are, what you believe in and your talents. But more importantly, here you get in touch with your peers and like-minded people. However, this is not the place to sell tickets to people who want to touch your talent. It doesn’t work like that. On this site everything is free. It is based on mutual trust and mutual contributions. Show what you can and look around and appreciate the talents of the others. That’s the way to get a piece of their mind in regard to your work. I am pissed off by ads for washing powders which, unlike the regular powders, wash away the most difficult stains. I am pissed off by toothpastes, creams, drinks, mobile operators and new cars. The moment I buy the newest mobile phone, the market offers still a newer one, which sends to my neighbourhood supermarket information about my consumer preferences and my favourite coffee brand, for example, and they flood me with ads of competitive brands. In contrast, I prefer to have my morning coffee in the company of my beloved, to smile to her, to hug and love her, no matter what coffee brand we drink. I do not accept wars and killings of innocent human beings because of fights for superiority between certain economic interests. Let’s reveal what is love, what is suffering, what is happiness, what is longing, by the methods of Art. My beloved may not have a perfect face and figure as the models in the advertisements but I love her. True Art that we strive for, cannot be burdened with commercialism. Hopefully, we can earn something out of it but that’s not the goal. If we think of money while we create, this automatically kills our creation and turns it into a piece of meat of a killed animal, ready to be consumed. It will be devoured by somebody, digested and excreted. And nobody else will touch it except the worms and the flies. Let’s turn this site into an arena of pure, non-commercial art. I’m sure we can rejoice at the fruit of our creative work, to give and receive positive energy. Moreover, when you advance in your participation in this arena, you will have the possibility to order to fellow participants certain jobs in the sphere of arts and all activities covered by this site, and receive the products ordered by you. For example, let’s imagine you are a web designer who is interested to try his/her hands at producing an amateur short film. You need music to be composed for your film. You check the music section of our site and to your pleasant surprise you find music that you like that was uploaded by a composer - fellow participant. Now you contact him/her and ask “Can you write music for my film?” You discuss what you need and reach agreement with that person. Then you get your music. But… something is missing: do you pay for the music or you get it for free? To pay for the services, you need Artes, the virtual currency or credits of the Artistic Club. Where do you get them? Here, on our site. How? By doing work for a fellow member of the Artistic Club, who has seen your special skills or talents and asked you, for instance, to produce a web-design for him/her. It doesn’t have to be the same person (the composer). You have done this work some time ago for somebody and the system has debited your account with the agreed amount, after the confirmation of the recipient of your work. Now you can use the Artes within the Artistic Club relationships. They are not associated with real money. Their purpose is to compare you efforts with other users’ efforts and to avoid misunderstandings that someone worked more and received less. Let’s prove that it is possible to create art, to help each other and to produce actual results without dependence on money but thanks to good will and high ideals. This is the purpose of Artistic Club. And this purpose can be reached solely by means of the ideals, talent, moral sense and the unselfish participation of all of us. |
